KIDS 2 KIDS

The New Jersey Golf Foundation is proudly committed to introducing the game of golf to boys and girls on the autism spectrum and living with other physical and cognitive challenges. In 2016, the NJGF hosted a two-week golf clinic series in conjunction with Kids to Kids (K2K), a group of young high school students who have been inspired to give back to their community.

Led by New Jersey PGA Professionals and supported by the K2K high school

mentors, the golf instructional program took place at Maverick Driving Range at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lyons. That program was followed by an indoor clinic series in the gym of the Normandy Park School in Morristown, NJ, using adaptive equipment, appropriate for a school gymnasium.

All programming that K2K offers is designed to develop life-long skills, while ensuring that each activity is inclusive to ensure success.
